A simple belief, born on a beach.

Beachkit began with the kind of long, unhurried New Zealand summer day that stays with you for life—the sort that happens at Pauanui, where the water is clear, the shade matters and nobody is in a hurry to go anywhere.

Founded in 2012, the idea was simple: the gear you bring to the beach should be as good as the day itself. Not disposable. Not generic. Designed with care, built to last and worth owning.

Same summer spirit. A bigger ambition.

In 2025, Linda and Cindy took the helm, bringing a deep personal connection to New Zealand’s coastal lifestyle, a shared love of design-led products and a clear vision for where Beachkit goes next.

That lived experience shapes every decision: what enters the range, what gets left out and the standard each product must meet before it earns a place in the Beachkit collection.
