What makes Beachkit umbrellas special?
Beachkit umbrellas are designed for durability, functionality, and maximum UV protection. They offer UPF 50+ protection, blocking at least 98% of harmful UV rays according to AUS & NZ standards. Our umbrellas are lightweight (approx. 2.5kg), made with anodised, rust-resistant two-piece poles, and come with a Quick Twist anchoring system and 3-way tilt feature to provide shade exactly where you need it.
What is the Quick Twist anchoring system?
The Quick Twist system securely locks the umbrella into the sand, preventing it from blowing away, so you don’t have to worry about chasing your umbrella down the beach.
How does the 3-way tilt feature work?
Our umbrellas have a button release just below the sliding hub. By pressing this button, you can adjust the umbrella’s tilt in three directions, giving you shade flexibility as the sun moves.
Ordering Online
Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
Once your order is placed, we aim to process it quickly, so changes may not be possible. Please contact us at info@beachkit.co.nz as soon as possible if you need assistance.
Delivery
What are the delivery times?
North Island (Main Centres): 2-3 working days
North Island (Waiheke Island, Great Barrier Island): May take longer
South Island (Main Centres): 4-7 working days
Rural Deliveries: 5 working days
Orders placed before 2 pm on weekdays are processed the same day. Orders placed after 2 pm will be processed the next business day.
Returns
Return Policy
You have 30 days from the date of purchase to return items. To qualify for a return, items must be unused, in original condition, and in their original packaging, with proof of purchase.
How do I return an item?
Prepare the Item: Ensure it’s unused and in original packaging.
Shipping: Arrange for pickup or drop-off through NZ Post, or take the package to your nearest Post Shop.

When will I receive my refund?
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll email you about your refund approval status. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within a few days.
